Featuring a drive-thru, the shop is located at 803 W. Anthony Dr., situated near Market Place Shopping Center just off Interstate 74 and Prospect Ave.
A grand opening celebration will take place on Tuesday, January 16, featuring a ribbon-cutting event at 4 p.m. As an extra treat, the first 20 guests per day, from Tuesday, January 16 to Saturday, January 20, will receive a free sandwich coupon for their next visit.
Rob Wilbern, the entrepreneur behind the second Champaign shop, is set to open an additional four Potbelly locations throughout Central Illinois, from the Champaign-Urbana market west to Springfield and Decatur, Illinois. With a dynamic business background running a Certified Public Accounting firm, an automotive dealership, successful restaurant developments in Springfield, and several other businesses, he is well-prepared to oversee the operations of the new Potbelly location.
